Claude Training FAQ

Questions owners actually ask.

Straight answers about what Claude training teaches, what it costs, how the install works, and whether it's right for your business. If your question isn't here, book a call and ask me directly.

The Basics

What does Claude training for small business owners actually teach?

I teach owners how to actually put Claude to work in their business, not just how to use a chatbot. By the end, your Claude knows your business, writes in your voice, watches your inbox, runs tasks on a schedule, and gives you a morning dashboard you actually open.

The whole thing runs on one idea: stop treating Claude like a search engine you ask questions to, and start treating it like a junior employee you just hired.

What is Claude, and how is it different from ChatGPT?

Claude is Anthropic's AI assistant, and this training focuses on Claude Cowork, the desktop app where Claude can open your files, draft and send email, build documents, and take real action with your permission, not just answer questions in a chat box.

If you already use ChatGPT, you're not starting from zero. This is a different move: Claude Cowork is an agent, not a chatbot, and there's a migration guide if you want your ChatGPT history to come along.

Do I need to be tech-savvy to take Claude training?

No. This is built for business owners, not software people. The install assumes zero technical background and walks you through it click by click, one step at a time, waiting for you at each one. Nobody gets left behind because they "don't get computers."

Is this Claude training only for certain kinds of businesses?

No. It's built for small business owners across the board, service businesses especially, and the setup gets tailored to your actual business during the install. It's for the owner who's curious about AI but hasn't made it stick yet, not for one specific niche.

Trust and Credibility

Who is Pat Miller, and why should I learn Claude from him?

I'm not a tech vendor. I host a daily show for small business owners, run the Small Business Owners Community, and put on the SBOC Conference, and I use Claude every day to run my own business.

In a normal week Claude saves me more than 20 hours, and I teach the exact setup that gets me there, not a theoretical one.

Is Pat Miller affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic?

No. I'm independent of Anthropic. I'm just one owner teaching other owners how to use a tool that's changing how we work.

Pricing and Tiers

How much does Claude training for small business owners cost?

There are three ways in, priced by how much hands-on help you want. Good is $97 a month for a self-guided install. Better is $500 a month for three months for a group cohort. Best is one-on-one training with me.

All three end at the same place, just with different amounts of company along the way.

What's the difference between the Good, Better, and Best training tiers?

Good ($97/month) is the self-guided Audematic Install, where your own Claude walks you through setup on your own schedule. Better ($500/month for three months) adds a three-month cohort of up to ten owners, with monthly themes, live masterminds, and my direct feedback on your business. Best is private, one-on-one training with me, built entirely around your business.

Every tier includes the same install and the same ongoing library after that.

How It Works

What is "the Audematic Install"?

It's my name for the guided onboarding every member goes through, no matter which tier they pick. You connect your Claude to my private library and say "start my install," and your own Claude walks you through the whole setup, one step at a time, with a real win at the end of every step.

What's included in the AI Installation Group cohort?

The AI Installation Group is a three-month program capped at ten owners so it stays a real room, not a webinar. Every month has a theme and homework, plus live masterminds and AI Slams where real member problems get solved on the spot, and direct feedback from me on your actual business.

It runs six months total: 90 days in the cohort, then three more months of library access.

What happens in one-on-one Claude training with Pat?

You get three private calls in your first month to build and set up your Claude together, with prework so we're not starting from zero on the calls. After that, you keep five more months of access to the library, the monthly modules, and office hours. It's the whole install, delivered personally.

How long does it take to get set up on Claude?

It's not a marathon. Most owners do two or three steps at a sitting, sometimes just one, and get their first real win in the very first session. The full install is ten steps done at your own pace, not one long sitting.

Which Claude plan do I need for this training?

The Pro plan at $20 a month works to get started. I recommend the Max plan at $100 a month for real daily use, since that's where you stop hitting a wall every afternoon. One tip I give everyone: skip the annual plan, because the tech moves too fast to lock in for a year.

Fit and Objections

Is my business data safe if I connect Claude to my email and files?

Yes. On day one, every member turns off "help improve Claude" so your business conversations aren't used as training data. Every tool connection is a permission you approve yourself, nothing connects behind your back, and the rule I teach is to connect money tools last or never. You stay in control the whole way through.

Will Claude replace me or my employees?

No. The whole point is the junior-employee frame: Claude takes the drudgery, the email triage, the prep work, the first drafts, so you get to do the owner work. You stay on the send button. Claude drafts, you approve, and nothing leaves the building without you.

I already use ChatGPT. Why would I need Claude training?

Because most people use ChatGPT like a search box, and that's not where the real value is. This training is about onboarding Claude like a new hire: teaching it your business, capturing your voice, and connecting your real tools, so it can actually do work instead of just answering questions.

If you want your ChatGPT history to come with you, there's a migration guide for that too.

How is this different from watching AI tutorials on YouTube or taking a generic AI course?

A tutorial teaches you to ask questions. This teaches your Claude your business: your voice, your files, your inbox, your actual to-do list, so it can start doing real work, not just answering hypotheticals.

My rule: you won't unlock the opportunity until your documents and your email are connected, and that's exactly what the install does that a video can't.

What if I get stuck during the Claude setup?

Your Claude tries to unstick you first, since it usually can. If the same thing trips you up twice, that's exactly what office hours are for, held twice a month, and it gets solved live on the next call. Nobody's left grinding through it alone.

Proof and What Comes Next

How much time can Claude actually save a small business owner?

In my own business, Claude saves me around 22 and a half hours in a normal week, which puts me on track for over 1,000 hours a year. That's my number in my business, and results depend on your business and how far you take the setup, but it shows what's possible once Claude is properly installed instead of just opened occasionally.

What happens after the six-month cohort or one-on-one program ends?

You're invited to stay on Pat's server for $97 a month, the same as the Good tier, so your access to the monthly modules, the Trendsletter, and office hours keeps going without a break if you want it to.
